The inspiration behind the name Loulabelle

Having two children meant that art and nature always featured in day-to-day life.   Visiting Worthing Beach, hunting for unusual pebbles was a regular activity, and visiting Worthing Pier to have fun at the amusements was a must!  Activities at home always featured arts and crafts, and we loved looking out for our garden wildlife.

Loulabelle is inspired by my daughter's names, Anabelle and Elouise and my art is still nurtured by their love of wildlife and our local home town, Worthing.

I would say my art is a little whimsical and always colourful.   If you meet me at markets you will know there is a story behind every piece which I love to share with my customers!  From foxes stealing doughnuts to watching my daughter's delight when a little Robin finally uses the bird feeder, either way, I always have a story to tell!
